PS4 consoles have a WiFi antenna that sits just inside the front of the case. Any pressure on the case of the console could damage the antenna.

How do we repair the Playstation 4 WiFi fault?
The very first thing we do with all devices is test them to replicate the fault the customer is having to make sure the device needs the repair selected. If there is anything different we will always call you to confirm.
We will then proceed to open the PS4 to gain access to the relevant parts. We then conduct a visual inspection. Damages can normally be easily seen like tears in the antenna or dents in the metal antenna plate. We then replace the parts required and test the console again. Once the repair person is happy the fault is cured they will reassemble the PS4 and pass it down to the test bench.
The console will be tested for anything from 2-8 hours and once passed will be packed ready for dispatch back to you.
