The iPod Touch 5th Gen (or 5G) was released in October 2012. It was available in some new colours: space grey, silver, pink, yellow, blue, and Product Red. Although originally only available with 32GB or 64GB of storage, a 16GB model was released in May 2013. The iPod Touch 5G was discontinued by Apple in July 2015, following the announcement of the 6th Gen iPod Touch.
