What causes the need for an Xbox One S Slim Power Supply Replacement?
The internal Power Supply Units or PSU has various components that can become faulty and too sensitive so they cut off during normal use. We have had Xbox One Slim consoles sent in after a power surge that has caused damage to the PSU too causing the Xbox to have power issues.
How do we repair the Xbox One Slim?
As with all repairs we first test the Xbox One S to confirm the fault. Once we establish that it is the PSU at fault we will dismantle the XB1 Slim and swap the PSU. We then test the console before reassembling it. The console is then taken to our saturation test bench where all consoles are tested for a minimum of 4 hours prior to dispatch.
