The blue screen fault on the Nintendo Switch is caused by the main CPU chip coming away from the board. This is usually caused by the Nintendo Switch being bent.
The first thing we do before any repair is test the console to confirm the fault. We clean out any dust as we go. We then proceed to open the Nintendo Switch to gain access to the internals.
The Blue Screen of Death is repaired by removing the main chip from the motherboard very carefully with our specialist equipment. Often the cause of the fault is phsyical damage as the solder pads on the motherboard become damaged and they are replaced at this point too. We then reball the chip with leaded solder with our specialist equipment to get the unit up and running again.
