How do we undertake the Xbox Series console HDMI repairs?
There are a lot of videos floating around the internet of people currently cutting out the back of the HDMI port to allow the connection of the cable once the port has been replaced. People are doing this as the ports that are available at present that can be used currently sit further back on the motherboard, meaning a normal HDMI cable can't reach the port. This is not something we wish to do, as it causes permanent aesthetic changes to your brand new console.
Instead, we offer a different solution. Once the port has been replaced, we will provide you with a modified HDMI cable so as to allow the connection to be made. This does mean that this cable needs to be kept safe, but we feel it is a much better option that causing this aesthetic change to your console.
