The first thing we do before any repair is test the iPhone to confirm the fault. We then open the iPhone 8 or 8 Plus to gain access to the internal workings. We swap the broken earpiece for a new one, test the sound quality and seal it back down. The iPhone 8 or 8 Plus then goes down to our testing bench where all functions are tested prior to dispatch.
