What causes the iPhone 5C screen fault?


iPhone screens are unfortunately prone to smashing if the phone is dropped. We also hear from a few customers who've accidentally sat on their phones and broken the screen!

How do we repair the iPhone 5C screen?


We replace both the digitiser and LCD for this repair as it is a sealed unit. Other companies may offer "glass only" repairs, but these are generally of poor quality and there is often dust left between the digitiser and glass.

If there are any dents in the metal housing, we can usually smooth them out so that the new screen fits.

We've had iPhones brought to us that have been unrecognisable (even some that have been run over by a truck!) and our customers are often surprised about how well they can be returned to their original state.
