Normally this fault is purely down to wear and tear. The diaphragm of the loudspeakers can become worn over time and stop producing an accurate sound.
Dirt and dust can get inside and cause speaker problems.
We have had a few iPad Pro in where a touch of liquid has got inside the speaker through the vents and damaged it. As long as too much water hasn't got in and damaged other areas, the speaker can be replaced and should work again.
The first thing we do before any repair is test the iPad Pro to check the fault. We will then proceed to open the iPad by removing the screen to gain access to the internals. We then proceed to replace the speaker assembly.
We will reassemble the iPad Pro and test it out before sending it down to the main testing area. Here all functions are tested before packaging the iPad ready for dispatch.
