The biggest Xbox One update ever has a launch date! The console will finally become backwards compatible on November 12.
A Windows 10-based update will roll out that will put a new UI on the console, as well as giving everyone the ability to play certain Xbox 360 titles including Mass Effect, Burnout Paradise and Gears of War. There will also be speed and performance upgrades.
An updated dashboard will include a new Guide, a new Community section, and an update to the OneGuide feature that lets you see which TV shows are trending. Cortana voice search will be available in 2016.
